Interesting enough, this comes right before Jordan Brand debuts their own React enabled AJ1.

Nike React Element 87 x Air Jordan 1 Keeping the classic AJ 1 silhouette, The Shoe Surgeon added clear ripstop materials and premium Italian leathers to the upper. Design elements from the React Element 87 like the distinctive tongue pattern and zig-zag stitching were also added.
